Terms of service.

The short version

Use Coffee Bud to find indie cafes and check in honestly. Don't impersonate someone else. Don't try to game the streak/rank system. Don't upload content that would get a cafe in trouble or violate someone's privacy. Be a good neighbor.

Eligibility

Coffee Bud is available in the United States and to users 13 years or older (16+ in some jurisdictions). By creating an account you confirm you meet these requirements.

Your content

Photos, vibe tags, check-in notes — you keep ownership. By posting them you grant Coffee Bud a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display them in the app and on related Coffee Bud surfaces. You can delete anything you've posted from inside the app.

No reviews, no rewards

We don't run star ratings or review-for-reward loops. The catalog is curated. Coffee Bud may partner with cafes on featured placements and stories from time to time; any such partnership will be clearly labeled where it appears.

Acceptable use

Don't reverse-engineer, scrape, or load-test the service. Don't post someone's location data without their permission. Don't use Coffee Bud to harass other users. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

Termination

You can delete your account from Settings → Account at any time. We can terminate accounts that violate these terms. In either case, deleted accounts are anonymized within 30 days; check-ins remain as aggregate stats only.

Liability

Coffee Bud is provided "as is" without warranty. We aren't responsible for the coffee.
