Open Coffee Bud and you see the independent shops and small local chains around you, sorted by distance, with ratings, prices and whether they're open right now.

Starbucks, Dunkin' and other big chains never show up.
Hide any other chain you'd rather not see.
Missing a cafe or a cart? Suggest it, and once it's approved it's on the map.

Your drinks

Save three drinks. See who pours them.

Tell Coffee Bud what you actually order. Cafes that serve it are highlighted in teal on the map and marked Your drink in the list, so you know before you walk in.

Matches come from what people order when they check in, plus each cafe's menu.
Switch search to Drinks to see only the cafes that pour yours.
Photograph a menu to find drinks worth saving. Your scans stay private.

Friends

See who's out, and ask them along.

When friends check in, they show up under Online now with the cafe they're at, and drop off when they leave. Pick a place and a time, invite a few people, and see who's coming.

Friends answer invites with Going, Maybe or Can't.
Add friends by username, QR code or your contacts.
Your feed shows where friends checked in and what they ordered.

The small things that keep you coming back.

Streaks and ranks

Check in once a week to keep your streak going. Every check-in earns points, and a photo doubles them. Points add up to five ranks, from Bean to Master Barista.

You choose who sees it

Every check-in can be public, friends-only or private. Block or report anyone from their profile.

On your wrist and Home Screen

Widgets show your streak, the nearest cafe that pours your drink, and friend activity. On Apple Watch, see your streak and check in with a tap.

We don't list the big chains.

Search tools show you the closest place or the most-reviewed place. Coffee Bud shows you the place a regular would send a friend to: the shop that gets your drink right, the cart that opens at 6am, the library cafe nobody has written about yet.
